Ace Helps Stamp Out Hunger

In partnership with Move For Hunger, the Ace San Diego and Los Angeles branches participated in the Stamp Out Hunger food drive organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers.  Our offices helped transport almost 50,000 pounds of food from the local post offices to the food banks in those areas.

We are proud to be part of a long history of getting food to those in need as the NALC celebrates their 25th anniversary of the food drive. Read more about its fascinating history.

As shared by the NALC website, over the last 24 national food drives, letter carriers have collected more than 1.5 billion pounds of food, helped by untold thousands of fellow postal employees, retired letter carriers, family members and friends. The food is then distributed to local food pantries within the same communities where it was collected.

Across the country, over 10,000 cities and towns participated in this year’s drive. We  are happy to be a part of the 35 Move For Hunger partners from across the United States. Over 10,000 cities and towns participated in this year’s drive!

“We are proud to be partners with Move for Hunger. We are fortunate to have a team here at Ace in Los Angeles where promoting the Move For Hunger cause has paid off,” said Chris Ship, General Manager of Ace Relocations’ LA branch. “We will continue our support as long as there are families in need.”   Our San Diego office stays actively involved with Move for Hunger as well.  Read more here.
