In the constant endeavor to continuously improve the quality of life from the company’s warehouse to the customer’s living room, Ace Relocation implements the 10 CSR guidelines by undertaking initiatives in the following areas:
Corporate Social Responsibility towards Customers
We at Ace Relocation value every business opportunity and accomplish it with the highest levels of Quality and Commitment. Straight from the process of free moving estimates to unloading the last item off of the moving truck, we follow only ethical practices. We have partnered with the official AMSA movers and are certified ProMovers. We follow all the legal rules and laws of moving or relocating. All our movers are legally insured, drug tested and quality certified to provide high standards of customer service.
To protect the customer’s belonging we use only high-quality packing that includes crating, dish packs, shrink wrapping, quilted move pads, foam and bubble wrap and Kraft paper pads. We provide different types of insurances for the items that we move. If anything were to happen, we would work with the client to ensure that they are fully compensated to the degree of their coverage and our liability. Ace has a very low packing claims liability ratio of 1.6% and cargo claims liability ratio of 2.36%.
We believe in providing every bit of information to the customer before during and after the move. We strive to enrich our customers with relevant knowledge when it comes to moving. Corporate Social Responsibility towards the Community
Giving back to the society has always been integral to Ace Relocations Systems. Ace employees are making a positive impact on our communities by providing their time, money and expertise year round.
Multiple Sclerosis Society
We donate manpower and moving trucks to haul bikes for their largest money-raising events between Irvine and San Diego. We also participate in their MS Walks to earn money for research. This is typically at the branch level where Ace employees volunteer their time for the event and actually join in the walk. This is held at UC Irvine every year.
LBBB – Long Beach Basket Brigade‘
We donate manpower and moving trucks to get 1,500 baskets of food delivered to the community in Long Beach for those in need. We also donate our time as Ace employees to help put the baskets together and distribute them in the community. Click here to learn more.
Move for Hunger
Move for Hunger is a non-profit organization that works with the moving companies to provide food for families in need. According to their website, one out of six Americans are struggling to find their next meal, while one out of 7 Americans relocate each year. That is why moving companies are in the perfect position to take action against hunger in our nation. Ace Relocation has teamed up with Move for Hunger and is responsible for promoting the program to our customers and for transporting the food they donate to our local food bank. The food that we collect will go directly to those in our community who need it most.
American Cancer Society – Making Strides against Breast Cancer
Almost everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way. So we decided to make a difference by walking and raising money in the San Diego American Cancer Society’s Making Strides against Breast Cancer event.
American Diabetes Association
Friends and family of Ace Relocation join us every year to donate and participate in the American Diabetes Association’s annual Walk to Stop Diabetes. The “Step Out” walk is done throughout the country and raises money each year to find a cure for the disease that kills 72,000 people annually in the U.S. alone.
I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD)
Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. and West Coast Office Systems donated their services and products to help San Diego’s longest-running environmental nonprofit organization to move to their new office location.
REALTOR® Association of Northwest Chicagoland (RANWC) Charitable Foundation’s Helping Our Heroes:
Ace donated its services by picking up the goods from a warehouse and drove them an estimated 40 miles to the RANWC; the final destination before the cases were mailed out and delivered by volunteers.
American Red Cross Bloodmobile
Our Eager staff at Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. has been donating blood to the Red Cross annually since 2006, in an effort to make a difference in the community by saving lives.
Ace Relocation Systems hopes to continue donating to the Bloodmobile and beat their record number of participants every year.
Americans Helping Asian Children (AHAC)
Ace employees held a fundraiser dinner in order to raise money for the non-profit organization, Americans Helping Asian Children, specifically underprivileged children in Vietnam. These funds were collected to build a bridge, install a water filter system to provide clean water for 3,000 people, and buying school supplies and fixing broken school furniture for 10 classes of children who cannot afford to go to a regular school.
Toys for Tots
Every year around the holidays, we organize a toy a drive for the local marine bases. Our generous employees donate brand new toys to bring in the holiday cheer for the unfortunate children.
Our commitment to Preserve the Global Environment and initiate Sustainability is a very important part of our responsibility towards the community. All Ace employees implement a myriad of ways to preserve our environment.

As we design experiences, execute services and evaluate our success we are able to choose every day in big and small ways how our actions and words build a better quality of life for our employees, clients, shippers and suppliers.
We commit to:
- Minimize environmental impacts in the areas of waste, water, energy and air quality.
- Assure that 95% of the truck fleet is CARB compliant.
- Reach of a goal of 50% use of recycled materials and reusable containers.
- Ensure our supply chain has responsible social and environmental practices.
- Percentage of vendors used who meet company minimum sustainability guidelines: 60% of vendors compliant.
- Create innovative approaches to minimize negative environmental impacts, improve economic bottom lines and integrate the social elements to our moving and storage solutions.
- Change to completely paperless accounts payable system using automated workflow and paperless payment solutions.
- Finalization of paperless warehouse management system.

- Internal senior reviews will be held at least once per year.
- Management reviews will be conducted quarterly.
Corporate Social Responsibility towards Employees:
We believe that every employee at Ace is key to our success in providing great service and true value to our customers. When Reg Lammers started this business in 1968, he wanted to build a business that not only would provide for the family, but also be a great place to work, where employees would be treated as family. Since then Ace has promoted a family oriented workplace which keeps the employee motivated with very little attrition rates.
We provide employees with an Ace Relocation systems, Inc.-Employee Handbook which shall serve a guide with shall clearly specify general HR procedures, practices, policies and employee benefits.
We spare no effort in maintaining the safety and health of our employees. We follow all the rules and regulations to that effect, the primary ones of which are the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Occupational Safety and Health Act amongst many others.
In addition to abiding by the HR laws, we celebrate all the festivals with flair. From barbecues to potluck lunches, to Halloween costume contests our employees truly are part of the ACE family.
Ace is committed to the growth and development of its employees at all levels. We provide robust training programs to our employees that ultimately helps in maximizing their productivity. We have mandatory and optional training programs depending on the employee role and business needs. We offer online and instructor-led training courses to create enhance employee skills.
